Farm Mapping NZ
Hello from Farm Mapping NZ where you’ll find services to help you manage your land more effectively with accurate farm maps showing paddock sizes.
We make maps based on Google Earth imagery. On-site visits aren’t needed, so turnaround time is just two weeks for you to have a map made of your farm.
Mapping the productive, since 1997
When we started out, technology was in its infancy, now it’s at your fingertips. Sure, some farmers want to buy software and make their own maps, but if you’d rather spend more time farming and less time on paperwork, contact us for precise maps of your property.
We’ve helped thousands of farmers manage their land more effectively by using maps tailor-made for them.

Our maps contain accurate information to help:
Farm maps help manage tasks such as:
"I was well-impressed with the service. We use our maps to show contractors where to go when they’re spreading fertiliser, or fencing etc.
"They can clearly see where they are going and how to get there before they go out onto the farm. We can show them where hazards are, where the gates are placed and anything else they need to know.
"The quality is really clear. One of the things I was most impressed with was the attention to detail; all the fences and paddock names are clearly marked on an up-to-date satellite map.
"The staff were great to deal with. There was no time wasting, they were pleasant and professional."

How long does it take?
Turnaround time for draft copies is usually within ten working days.
Can I have my maps updated?
Yes. Simply contact us to discuss what you need, and we can give you a price to do the work.
Can I print maps from my computer?
Yes. We'll send you digital copies you can print yourself, or send to a commercial printer. Some of our clients have had mini-maps and tear-pads produced.
If I decide to go ahead, what happens next?
We prepare a draft photomap showing paddock sizes, farm boundaries, and fence-lines, and post to you for editing. At this stage you can make changes and additions. Many farmers like to add paddock names or numbers. You can mark in any other features you want on the map.
When you return your edited photomap, we prepare the final maps and (if required) have your whiteboards made.
