If I decide to proceed, what happens
next?
 |
We order the aerial photo |
 |
We prepare a draft photomap
showing boundaries and fencelines, and post it to you for editing. At this stage you can
make any changes or additions. Many farmers like to add paddock names. You can also mark
in any other features you want identified on the map. |
 |
When you return your edited
photomap, we prepare the final maps, including exact paddock sizes. |
| How long does it take?
You should allow up to six weeks for the
maps to be completed.
Can I use the farm map on my
computer?
Yes. The package can also be provided on
CD for an additional fee. If your computer programme is compatible, you can import all the
information and work with it on your computer. If your computer programme is not
compatible, you can still import all the maps and rebuild them on your computer.
Will the photos be in colour or black and white?
This depends on the aerial mapping
company - most photography since 1998 is in colour, but some areas have only been shot in
black and white. Contact us for a free no-obligation inquiry. |

What are my options if the photos are not recent enough?
New flying is being carried out
throughout the spring-to-autumn aerial photography season. We can let you know as soon as
new photos are available, or you may want to consider purchasing special flying of your
property - prices for this start at around $750 plus GST.
| "The map has
provided the information for better day to day management of the property, mainly for dry
matter, fertiliser and cows per hectare. We had no worries with the service, it was
great." Bev
